This marlin is handcrafted by Charleston artist Fred Moore. Fred makes the fish out of heavy 14 gauge steel, and he treats the steel to give it a rust patina. Each piece that Fred makes has its own unique level and design of rust. The marlin is great for both indoor and outdoor display. If displayed outdoors, the fish will continually rust beautifully in the elements, but naval jelly can be used to remove rust if desired.
This marlin is 48 inches long and 15 inches tall (at its tallest point). It weighs almost 5 pounds.
